Dormire a Riola Sardo


La città fu fondata dai romani, ma fu abitata fin dall'età del bronzo, come testimoniano i numerosi menhir presenti nel territorio. Nel territorio si incontra una "laura" basiliana ed una chiesa del '700 fronteggiata dalla Torre dell'orologio del XIX sec. E' del secolo IX una cripta bizantina che presenta diversi affreschi.
