Bardolino dà il nome ad un ottimo vino rosso rubino a marchio DOC prodotto solo nella sua zona ed ospita due musei che raccontano la storia della produzione dell'olio e del vino.

Da questa preliminare descrizione sarà facile pensare a Bardolino come ad un tipico paese collocato sulla costa del Mediterraneo, ma questa deduzione risulterà totalmente errata visto che la ridente località sorge sulla Riviera degli Olivi del Lago di Garda a qualche decina di chilometri da Verona.

Dai traghetti che costantemente fanno il giro del lago di Garda si colgono nella loro interezza i paesaggi che circondano Bardolino, fatti  di campagne e di colline, mentre da terra si può apprezzare lo stile romanico delle chiese di San Zeno e San Severo, nonché le pregevoli ville signorili disseminate su tutto il territorio.
