Dormire a Sutri


Vicino al Lago di Vico, sorge, su di uno sperone tufaceo, la bella Sutri. Adagiata accanto alla via Cassia, nella etrusca Sutri, non possiamo che rimanere estasiati dall'anfiteatro Romano, scavato nel tufo risalente al I sec a.c. Da visitare ancora il sacello della Madonna del Parto da alcuni considerato ipogeo etrusco. Splendido il Duomo di origine romanica, con il pavimento cosmatesco ed una cripta di origine longobarda. Le mura cittadine medioevali sono ben conservate.
