Secondo il D'Annunzio “il più bel chilometra d'Italia” si trova a Reggio di Calabria. Egli si riferiva al Lungomare Falcomatà, da cui è possibile vedere nitidamente la Sicilia ed i minacciosi sbuffi di fumo dell'Etna. Nel Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia sono custoditi i celebri “Bronzi di Riace”, mentre dall'altro capo della città sorge il Duomo in stile neogotico, ultimato nel secolo scorso.
