Capoluogo della celebre Riviera dei Fiori, Imperia è nata dalla fusione dei paesi di Oneglia e Porto Maurizio. Per questo motivo la città dispone di due pittoreschi porti, quello di Ponente e quello di Levante. Da quest'ultimo si possono ammirare le case coloratissime arroccate sul promontorio del Parasio. A Porto Maurizio è visitabile il Duomo, la più grande chiesa della Liguria.
